Preparing for the Camino de Santiago
So, I'm reviving my blog.
I'm not much of a blogger, far from it: more a complete neophyte in the skills of rendering a blog visually attractive and, frankly, I prefer sitting in the couch holding a glass of good wine to typing away at the keyboard.
I'm a regular follower of my friend Ramón's "pera limonera" http://www.blogbruselas.com/ through which medium -a blog- I have some contacts with the Spanish community of Brussels. To make a long story short, I've now been training for two months already to get ready for my own "Camino de Santiago", and have been asked to publish an account of my walk on the web. Your wish is my command, Ramón.
First I had to take back command over my own blog. I've been working on two different computers (one at home and one at the job site), and was so foolish as to open two accounts, creating confusion, lost passwords etc! Once done so, I have erased all my previous entries, wishing to concentrate only upon this Camino thing.
Why English? Well, it's the lingua franca. Whilst I would like to use Castilian, too many of my family and friends don't understand it (including myself, at times).
