The Global Village

...consists of a multitude, a chain, of small villages being traversed by sheep or goats with bells around their necks and accompanied by upto half a dozen dogs and one or two pastores. Public libraries, if encountered, close at 13.00 hours, a time at which we are on the camino, walking. This to explain the reason why you haven't heard of me these last almost two weeks, weeks when I traversed Castilla Y Leon, and ascended into Galicia, the beautiful garden of the Iberian peninsula. A rollercoaster, up and down, of beautiful mountains, forests, fields, paths, interspersed with quaint villages. Today I arrived in Ourense, and next week Friday, all going well, I should arrive in Santiago de Compostella.
